He has great endurance and is a prolific ball winner who played all four games for WA at National Championships.
He also dominated colts with South Fremantle, averaging 26 disposals in 12 matches, including 41 and four gaols v East Perth.
Whan ran an impressive 6:11 seconds in the 2km time trial at the Draft Combine, and is a member of Fremantle’s Next Generation Academy due to his South African heritage.
