Richmond has announced two players who will train with the Club’s AFL program through the SSP.

This year’s Western Jets captain, Tom Burton, and Eastern Ranges 202cm utility Marcus Krasnadamskis, will train with the Club’s AFL program through the Supplementary Selection Period (SSP).

Burton averaged 29.6 disposals across 12 matches in the Coates Talent League to be named in the Team of the Year and as the Jets’ best and fairest, while Krasnadamskis blitzed Combine testing.

Krasnadamskis ran the 20-metre sprint at a blistering 2.88 seconds, placing him second overall, and he was in the top four for both running and standing vertical jumps.

Burton also co-captained Vic Metro this year, where he impacted games with his speed and energy. He had 20 disposals against Richmond’s VFL team in April, playing for the Marsh AFL National Academy. He also averaged 15.5 disposals for Vic Metro this year.

The 178cm Point Cook product also ranked in the top five at the Draft Combine for the 20m sprint with a 2.92-second time.

Krasnadamskis was a member of Eastern Ranges’ premiership-winning team, he averaged 11.5 disposals and 14 hit-outs per game.

Both players have travelled to Yarrawonga this week as part of the Club’s AFL Community and Training Camp.
