Georgios Bartzokas, the head coach of Olympiacos, confirmed that he will not be able to count on Shaquielle McKissic for the game against Crvena Zvezda.
The two red-and-white teams will face off in Belgrade on Wednesday (7:30 PM) in Round 13 of the EuroLeague, battling for second — or potentially even first — place in the competition.
Bartzokas’ team heads into the matchup after a win in Round 8 of the Greek League, where they defeated PAOK in Thessaloniki, 92–81.
After the game, Bartzokas stated that McKissic will not be ready, while the good news is the return of Frank Ntilikina.
“Ntilikina is ready, and I expect him to make a strong contribution to the team. McKissic, unfortunately, will not be able to play against Crvena Zvezda,” Georgios Bartzokas said.
Both teams enter the matchup at the “Arena” with identical records — eight wins and four losses through the first 12 games.
Both Moustapha Fall and Keenan Evans remain on the injury list from earlier, and Evans is expected to be out for an extended period of time.
Ergin Ataman revealed that he has big ambitions with Panathinaikos and the Turkish national team. 🗣️#WeTheGreens #paobcaktor #LiveTheGreenMagic #paobc pic.twitter.com/pmG07gDOff
