Last month, Street Talk revealed buyout firm KKR had hired PwC to shop Laser Clinics’ United Kingdom and North America operations, after securing waivers for the debt-laden group. Now it’s time for the big prize – its Australia and New Zealand business.
People briefed on the matter said KKR and The Growth Fund, a minority shareholder in Laser Clinics, had hired Macquarie Capital to field buyer interest in the ANZ operations, which accounted for nearly 80 per cent of the $187.3 million group revenue for the 2023 financial year. It has more than 100 locations, primarily on the East Coast, offering laser hair removal, injectables, facials and fillers.
