Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is now in direct negotiations with Greens leader Larissa Waters to pass Labor’s signature overhaul of Australia’s environment laws, with a deal expected to be inked by the end of the day.
Waters and Greens environment spokeswoman Sarah Hanson-Young met with the prime minister on Wednesday morning and were again seen going into his office on Wednesday afternoon after question time.
