Lachlan Galvin is set to take on the Wests Tigers for the first time since his midseason departure as the Bulldogs continue their pursuit of the Minor Premiership.Â
Canterbury are two points behind the ladder-leading Raiders and need a win to keep the pressure on Ricky Stuart’s men.Â
Galvin has impressed since stepping into the Bulldogs’ No.7 jersey after joining the club in May.
Meanwhile, Jacob Kiraz will take the reins in the no.1 jersey in place of the injured Connor Tracey, with youngster Jethro Rinakama returning to the side on the wing.

Galvin Goes in to Score
Â
Indigenous All Stars rep Josh Curran has been named to play his 100th NRL match in another player milestone for the Bulldogs.Â
Sunday’s clash marks the first time he will take on his former side and there is sure to be plenty of spice in front of a big crowd at CommBank Stadium.Â
The Tigers fell to the Panthers last weekend and they are desperate to bounce back as they fight to keep their slim finals hopes alive.Â
Jarome Luai will take charge of the side’s attack and his unpredictability will pose plenty of questions for the Bulldogs staunch defensive line.
Team News
Bulldogs: With Connor Tracey facing 3-4 weeks out with an abdominal injury, Jacob Kiraz slides to fullback and Jethro Rinakama comes in on the wing. No other changes to the side that took care of the Sea Eagles in dominant fashion in Round 21.
Wests Tigers: Star fullback Jahream Bula returns after five games out with a hamstring injury so Sunia Turuva goes back to the wing and Izaac Tu’itupou makes way. Back-rower Samuela Fainu (knee) also returns so Tony Sukkar reverts to the bench. Royce Hunt has been added to the bench and Jack Bird is out.
