The Western Bulldogs Football Club has delivered an underlying operating profit of $531,700 for the year ended 31 October 2025, representing an 8% increase on 2024 ($491,752).

The improvement reflects a 3.3% growth in revenue to $61,412,053, driven by continued support from the Club’s members, fans and partners. This uplift was partially offset by a 7% increase in football department investment across the men’s and women’s programs, as well as further strategic investment in people, technology, and facilities at Mission Whitten Oval.

The Club recorded a statutory net loss of $3,042,363 (2024: net profit $14,901,280 ), a figure that was significantly impacted by the Mission Whitten Oval redevelopment, which recorded an expense of $159,601 in 2025 compared to a surplus of $17.15 million in 2024, the year of its completion.

In a year that saw the Club mark 100 years since joining the VFL / AFL, it recorded its highest membership numbers, AFL attendance tallies, broadcast audience and digital following to date.

Bulldogs President Kylie Watson-Wheeler reflected on the Club’s strong commercial position and its solid foundation for continued success as it acknowledged a landmark year.

“We are operating with a sustainable commercial footing as a Club, and this is key to continuing to both honour our history and invest in our pathway to future success,” Watson-Wheeler said.

“Our Club is what it is today because of the fierce loyalty of our members and fans who are the lifeblood of the red, white and blue.

“As we step into our next hundred years, we do so with confidence in our Club. There’s so much for the Bulldogs faithful to be proud of and to look forward to.”

Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains said it was pleasing that the Club achieved a number of record milestones as it prepares to embark on a new era.

“Having broken our membership record for the fourth consecutive year and welcomed over 400,000 fans to our home games this season, I would like to thank everyone who showed their commitment to the Bulldogs cause throughout the year,” Bains said.

“We realised significant revenue growth across partnerships, merchandise and events, while our commercial partners received extraordinary exposure, with 16.7m cumulative viewers enjoying our exciting brand of footy across multiple prime time games.

“With an ambitious strategy currently rolling out that will guide the Club and its ever-growing Community Foundation through to 2028, these are incredibly exciting times for our Club and the entire Bulldogs community.”
