AFL NSW/ACT congratulates the umpires hailing from New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory for their appointment to this Saturday’s NAB AFLW Grand Final.Â
Field umpire Sam Nippress and boundary umpire Riley Guerin have been appointed to the umpiring panel for the Grand Final between North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos and the Brisbane Lions at IKON Park in Melbourne.
This weekend will be Nippress’ second NAB AFLW Grand Final, with the Canberra-based umpire having officiated the 2023 decider when Brisbane bested North Melbourne.Â
Saturday’s game will be Guerin’s NAB AFLW Grand Final debut, relocating to Sydney earlier this year and serving across a total of 34 NAB AFLW games, inclduing the league’s Finals series.Â
Congratulations and good luck to Nippress and Guerin for the 2025 NAB AFLW Grand Final this weekend.Â
