Mario Hezonja agrees with Partizan fans that Zeljko Obradovic must remain the head coach of the black-and-whites, something he confirmed on Instagram.
Hezonja has been closely following the events in Belgrade, where several thousand fans welcomed the most decorated European coach at the airport.

Mario Hezonja confirmed that on his Instagram Story as well, where he posted a photo from the welcome event featuring Zeljko Obradovic and his signature gesture in front of the fans.
The banner read: “This contract is signed with us! Don’t forget.”
The Real Madrid forward has never hidden his affection for the black-and-white colors, and on several occasions he has been linked with a potential move to Partizan.
As a reminder, Zeljko Obradovic submitted his resignation yesterday, but the club’s management rejected it today.

Zeljko Obradovic submitted his resignation yesterday, but the Executive and Managing Board unanimously rejected it today, and now everyone is once again waiting for the reaction of the most decorated coach in European basketball.
The leadership of the Serbian EuroLeague club – Partizan, has decided to give full support to Obradovic to continue his work in the organization where he won the European title 33 years ago. According to Mozzart Sport, their belief that the popular “ŽOC” will remain at the helm is so strong that potential replacements were not even discussed during the Board meeting.
It appears that President Mijailovic and other members of the club’s management agree with much of this criticism. As a result, the phrase “full confidence” will not be just a formality. If Obradović decides to withdraw his resignation, he will be given complete authority and full support (in every sense) to part ways with anyone he believes has not justified the trust placed in them through their performances and effort. He would even have the freedom to overhaul the entire roster if necessary.
For Partizan, the most important thing right now is to continue working with Obradovic, and that was the key message from the meeting of the club’s Executive and Managing Board.
