Richmond AFLW Assistant Coach and Operations Coordinator, Emma Grant, will depart the Club.

Richmond AFLW Assistant Coach and Operations Coordinator, Emma Grant, will depart the Club to spend more time with her young family.

Grant, who has been in the AFLW program for the past five years, firstly as a Development Coach and more recently in her current role, will remain in Bendigo, where she is AFL Head Coach of the Athlete Development Program at Bendigo South East College.

Richmond Executive Head of Women’s Football, Kate Sheahan, thanked Grant for her commitment and passion to the program, commuting from Bendigo throughout her tenure.

“Emma was an integral part of the coaching group that saw the team play in two finals campaigns,” Sheahan said.

“In 2024, Emma took time away from her teaching position in Bendigo to take on a full-time role as the Forwards Coach and Operations Coordinator.

“We wish Emma, her wife Leah, and children, Poppy and Max, all the best as she embarks on this new chapter.”
