Seth Meyers hosted some extra-special guests on the Thanksgiving episode of Late Night: his kids!
During the Thursday, Nov. 27 segment, Meyers interviewed his three children — Ashe, 9, Axel, 7, and Adelaide, 4 — who charmed viewers during their appearance.
As the 51-year-old host chatted with his kids, the conversation jumped from Christmas card pictures to their recent trip to Pennsylvania, where they attended a Pittsburgh Steelers game. However, it was the kids’ unfiltered answers that drew the biggest laughs from the audience.
When Meyers asked his children how they’d arrived at the studio, his sons confidently answered “car,” while his daughter insisted they had taken the “subway,” catching her father — and the audience — off guard.
And when he followed up to see whether she enjoyed the ride, Adelaide delivered a line that brought the house down: “The subway smelled like diarrhea.”
But the adorable chaos didn’t stop there. Adelaide went on to declare Ashe her favorite brother, labeling him the “sweet” one and Axel the “rough” one. When Meyers asked if she loved her brothers overall, the Adelaide made her feelings clear. “I love this one, but not that one,” she cracked, while hugging Ashe.
Nevertheless, Axel couldn’t resist breaking into spontaneous dance moves, drawing his siblings in and filling the segment with joyful energy.

On X, fans gushed over Meyers’ children, calling them “cute” and “adorable” while requesting that the Late Night host to have them back soon.
“OMG please have them on once a month 🤣🤣🤣,” one user commented. “I think a new tradition has started on Late Night,” another fan wrote hopefully.
“That was the best and I’m sure they are your favorite guests😊,” a third X user added. “Look out for Addy! She might be trouble🤣 Happy Thanksgiving Meyers Family.”

The Emmy-winning writer and SNL alum shares his two sons and daughter with his wife, human rights attorney Alexi Ashe. The pair met at a friend’s wedding and later tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in September 2013.
The pair welcomed their first son, Ashe Olson, three years later, followed by their second son, Axel Strahl, in 2018, and daughter Adelaide Ruth in 2021.
In 2020, Meyers opened up about his relationship with his wife, telling YourTango: “My wife is sillier than I am, so that makes me laugh a great deal. I make her laugh, too. But I also make her not laugh, and that’s when I know it’s time to retire something.”
