The first concrete reaction has appeared following the meeting that sparked speculation about whether Zeljko Obradovic would remain Partizan coach, as sporting director Zoran Savic has left the club.
We share the club’s official message on social media, now addressed to the former sporting director:
“Sporting director of KK Partizan Mozzart Bet, Zoran Savic, and the club’s management have reached an agreement according to which the former national team player will no longer serve as the club’s sporting director.
Savic joined the black-and-whites in spring 2021 and has been actively involved in team formation and all sporting matters of KK Partizan.
During this period, the Steamroller ensured participation in Europe’s top club competition, won two ABA League titles, and the Serbian championship, along with one EuroLeague playoff appearance.
Zoran, thank you for everything!”
An emergency meeting of the club’s Board of Directors is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., during which Partizan president Ostoja Mijailovic will address the public.
