SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame women’s tennis program has added a veteran piece for the future 2026-27 season. Head Coach Alison Silverio announced that Syracuse senior Anastasia Sysoeva will use her final year of eligibility as a grad transfer at Notre Dame. Sysoeva will graduate in the spring of 2026 with a double major in Finance and Information Management & Technology.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anastasia Sysoeva to the Notre Dame community,” Silverio stated. “Her extensive college playing experience, combined with her professional background, has shaped a winning habit and a competitive prowess. Anastasia brings a level of maturity, enthusiasm, and joy that will strengthen the heart of our unit. Her impact will be felt immediately!”

Sysoeva is coming off her best semester with the Orange. In doubles, she is currently ranked No. 19 in the country after starting 7-3. In October, Sysoeva and her partner Nelly Knezkova were the ITA New England Regional Runner-Ups.

In singles, she was even stronger, posting a 9-2 record, good for an 82.0 winning percentage.

The Sarasota, Florida, native also currently holds a WTA ranking, with a career high of 814.
