Previous Seasons Jerseys: 2025 2024 2023 2022 2021 2020 2019

Brisbane Broncos

The big change for Brisbane is their updated logo, with a lot of debate on social media and on footy podcasts. The home jersey is the same, but the new dark blue away jersey is a tribute to Cyril Connell. It’s a shame the NRL won’t take the AFL’s lead and include a modified logo on the reigning premiers’ jerseys.

Canberra Raiders

No changes to Canberra’s home and away jerseys, with new manufacturer Under Armour focusing on training gear and other off-field apparel for 2026. It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with for 2027: will they stick with the Raiders’ traditional home jersey?

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

After introducing a new logo (which like Brisbane’s has led to a lot of online debate), the Bulldogs have kept their 2004 anniversary jersey for 2026, with a reverse version for the away jersey.

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks

There’s minimal changes to Cronulla’s home and away jerseys, with a few more black stripes on the home kit.

Dolphins

The Redcliffe club have kept their predominantly red home jersey. Their away jersey is a nice red/white split, and the Vanilla Coke piping is subdued. Hopefully the wonderful black jersey also returns in 2026.

Gold Coast Titans

The Titans’ biggest change is their away jersey, with yellow fading into light blue (which you assume represents the sand and sea of the Gold Coast beaches). Though the colourful sponsor’s logo is still an eyesore. No change to the home jersey.

Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles

Celebrating their 80th anniversary, Manly have embraced retro. Their home jersey is a wonderful modernisation of the mid-90s Pepsi kit (with the Sea Eagles making grand finals in 1995, 1996, and 1997), and the anniversary logo stands out nicely. The away jersey goes back to the ’80s with the maroon horizontal strips.

Melbourne Storm

While Melbourne have flipped the dark blue and purple on their home jersey, it’s still underwhelming (and looks more like a training top). The away jersey is better but still looks conservative. Some more lightning bolts would be nice.

New Zealand Warriors

The Wahs have kept the popular mid-90s Auckland home jersey (with more blue on the collarbone and collar), with the away jersey a direct swap from blue to white. Again, the sponsor’s logo stands out nicely.

Newcastle Knights

Newcastle have returned to the popular vertical stripes for the home and away jerseys (ditching the large red/blue/white chevrons), which will remind Knights fans of their powerful late 90s/early 2000s sides.

To quote the Newcastle website: “Worn with pride through two iconic eras – first in the Club’s first golden era of 1997-2000, when the Knights built their reputation on grit, heart and community, and again throughout the 2010s – the stripes have always meant more than just a jersey.”

North Queensland Cowboys

North Queensland have kept their 30th anniversary jerseys for 2026 – with their normal logo returning.

Parramatta Eels

Parramatta have returned to the ’80s again, with their home jersey a replica of their 1986 design. There’s no change to the away jersey.

Penrith Panthers

Another club celebrating a milestone season (60th anniversary), Penrith have an updated logo but have kept the same home and away jerseys.

South Sydney Rabbitohs

While it’s tradition for Souths to keep their cardinal and myrtle home jersey, their away jersey returns to the iconic “Minties” design, which is a lot more adventurous than previous away jerseys.

St George Illawarra Dragons

No change for the Dragons in 2026: the traditional Red V remains as does the excellent Illawarra Steelers away jersey.

Sydney Roosters

There’s been a slight change to the Roosters’ traditional home jersey, with red stripes along the sides. Hopefully the change won’t upset die-hard Eastern Suburbs fans too much. No word on the away jersey yet, but expect a predominately white kit with red and blue chevrons.

Wests Tigers

After a promising 2025 on-field, Wests have a new look in 2026. The blocky chevrons from previous season are replaced by white and black claw marks on the home jersey (giving it a Balmain Tigers vibe) and orange and black on the away jersey. The black fade at the bottom is a bit strange though.
