Last week, the story that got the most eyeballs was UFC Lightweight champion Ilia Topuria revealing he didn’t want to hold up the division due to “personal problems.”

Speaking of Topuria, all signs pointed to him headlining UFC 324 until he wasn’t (check out who is here…if you don’t know).
Nevertheless, our lovely readers don’t love his inactivity.

Fighter ‘Comment of the Week’ — He said what?!?!?!
Fan-favorite Diego Lopes is doing a speed run to become hated fairly quickly, as he told everyone critical of him getting an undeserved title shot to stop crying.

SpongeBob made an appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.

UFC Beijing – Nov. 24, 2016
Curtis Blaydes drew Francis Ngannou in his UFC debut back in 2016 (he lost) and then got his chance to rematch him in 2018 — he lost again.
On the same Beijing Fight Night, Alistair Overeem welcomed Sergei Pavlovich to the UFC and ended up stopping him in the first round.
UFC Shanghai – Nov. 25, 2017
Eight years ago, Kelvin Gastelum retired Michael Bisping, knocking him out in under three minutes.
UFC Melbourne – Nov. 27, 2016
One of the loudest crowd reactions in UFC history happened when Robert Whittaker knocked out Derek Brunson in Melbourne.
On the same card, Alexander Volkanovski made his UFC debut … at Lightweight.
