The Voice contestants season 28

Peyton Kyle – TEAM REBA

BIO: Peyton found a fresh start through music when he moved to Gainesville in 2022. After losing touch with his musical passion in his early 20s while working full-time in other jobs, he rediscovered it after visiting his father and falling in love with the town’s slow pace, kind people and live music scene. Weekly gigs at Bourbon Brothers quickly earned him loyal fans, including Don and Susan Parr, who encouraged him to audition for “The Voice.” Now fronting his band Quiet Fire, Peyton has become a key part of Gainesville’s growing music community. He performs regularly and recently launched Sunday Serenades – a weekly artist showcase where local and visiting musicians can join him and his band onstage, learn new things and gain mentorship in live performance. With his family’s support and a community behind him, Peyton is ready to take the next big step, sharing his passion and music with the world.

The Voice contestants season 28

Ryan Mitchell – TEAM REBA

BIO: Ryan is a pop-rock artist whose music blends emotional honesty with classic rock inspiration. Raised in a musical household, he started performing as the drummer in a band with his sibling, touring the U.K. as a teen with The Euphoria. Influenced by legends such as Queen, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, he later fused that vintage energy with the edge of Muse, Green Day, Panic! At the Disco and My Chemical Romance. After struggling during the pandemic and entering rehab in 2021, songwriting became his lifeline. Now sober and thriving, Ryan is one semester away from graduating USC’s Thornton School of Music and has grown a following of over 500,000 on TikTok with original songs and viral covers. With performances at venues like the Viper Room, Whisky a Go Go and the Moroccan, he continues to share music born from personal struggle. For Ryan, “The Voice” is the next step to push himself and bring his story to a larger stage.

The Voice contestants season 28

Aaron Nichols – TEAM REBA

BIO: Aaron Nichols grew up in Bakersfield, California, where his hardworking single mom juggled long hospital shifts and cleaning jobs to support him and his brothers. Music sparked early when he would secretly play his older brother’s electric guitar, and by age 13, he was excelling in lessons that his mom made possible. Years later, he reconnected with his childhood crush Felisha – they’re now happily married with a young son, Jack, who cheers him on. Aaron moved to San Diego in 2013, playing local weddings and party bands while singing harmonies in church. The passing of his favorite singer, Chris Cornell, inspired him to explore his own voice, eventually booking gigs as a lead singer. In 2022, Aaron and Felisha made the leap to Nashville, where he now plays four to five nights a week, leads worship at church and has gained the confidence to audition for “The Voice,” ready to take his music to the next stage.
