NC State will play basketball in paradise this upcoming
season.
The Wolfpack are among the eight-team men’s college
basketball field for the 2025 Maui Invitational, the event announced Tuesday.
Joining NC State are Arizona State, Boise State, Seton Hall,
Texas, USC, Washington State and Chaminade.
The tournament takes place from Nov. 24-26 at the Lahaina
Civic Center in Lahaina, Hawaii.
Only one of the seven Division I teams in this year’s event,
Texas, made the NCAA tournament last season.
Chaminade, a Honolulu school that takes part in the
tournament in odd-numbered years, competes at the Division II level.
NC State’s Will Wade is entering his first season with the program.
