Why Todd Woodbridge is one of the busiest men in media.

He’s by no means complaining but Todd Woodbridge is one of the busiest men in media, with commitments at Nine and Tennis Australia.

The past 18 months have been amongst the busiest of his career.

“Little did I know when I took on Tipping Point everything would change and up the ante in work,” he tells TV Tonight.

“I finished 325 shows. I did five Tennis majors, two of those were the Australian summer, which are 32 days long. I did two Laver Cups. I did a cross court programme, Postcards programme. I do a lot of work with Tennis Australia in between, in our promotion of the game and everything like that.

So I was exhausted by the time we finished Tipping Point, and needed a good break, which I’ve been able to have. I’ve worked obviously the Roland Garros French Open, and Wimbledon and had a break either side of those.

“When I start back again, I’ll go into season three (of Tipping Point). I’ll go back into cross court. I will do a Laver Cup. I have quite a bit to do with Tennis Australia Awards, and everything we do throughout the end of the year. I’ll have two weeks off before the Australian summer, and then I’ll head into the Winter Olympics as well before I come up for air.”

This Sunday Woodbridge is nominated at the Logie Awards for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter.
