The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Bombay is set to host the 21st edition of its annual E-Summit on December 11-12, 2025. The event will focus on on-the-spot funding pitches, sector-focused sessions and structured networking for early stage founders and students exploring entrepreneurship.

Formed in October 1998 by students of IIT Bombay, the Entrepreneurship Cell aims to promote an entrepreneurial culture on campus by organising competitions and connecting students with incubation and investment pathways.

Themed around ‘Deciphering the Labyrinth,’ the Summit will feature a lineup of more than 120 speakers, including former Union minister Smriti Irani, Anil Agarwal, founder of Vedanta Resources; Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari; Aman Gupta, cofounder of boAt; Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, cofounders of Titan Capital. 

“The Summit is not limited to founders. Students can take part in a range of business and strategy competitions such as IPL Auction, Bid n Build, Fish Tank, Corporate Duel, Capital Quest, Ace the Case and Deciphering the Labyrinth,” the organisers said.

The Summit will host more than 50K attendees and 1,000+ startups across 30+ events, making it one of the largest student-run entrepreneurial congregations in Asia. Informal contests with prize pools of up to INR 2 Lakh will run across both days of the Summit. Internship and job fair, along with a virtual stock market simulation for students exploring roles in startups or finance, will also be hosted.

E-Summit 2025 is backed by WestBridge Capital and Stripe, with Google AdMob and GitLab as associate partners. The wider partner pool includes Krafton, Shivaami, Coca-Cola, Punjab and Sind Bank, ICICI Lombard, Perfios, NVIDIA, Cipla Health, GII, RD Pro, Upstox, Wadhwani Foundation and GAHNA.

Funding, Networking, Thematic Tracks To Shape E-Summit 2025 

The 21st edition of E-Summit will feature a series of events and tracks that will allow the startup community to learn, connect, and engage with leaders shaping India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Ten Minute Million: The on-the-spot funding platform will see student startups pitch to more than 16 investors for 10 minutes in front of an audience of more than 3,500, competing for INR 35 Lakh in commitments.

I-Hack: i-Hack, a series of hackathons held during E-Summit, will return with prize money of INR 6 lakh across development and data science tracks. The hackathon will bring together aspiring product managers, strategists, growth specialists, developers, designers, innovators and future entrepreneurs from across India.

The Startup Expo: The expo will allow participating startups to showcase their products to an expected footfall of more than 50,000 visitors over two days. Complementing the expo, the Networking Arena will offer curated one-to-one interactions between startups and more than 200 investors and mentors.

Global Entrepreneurship Conclave: It will host student innovators from more than 10 countries for a short bootcamp featuring cross-cultural collaboration sessions and project-based learning.

Technical Workshops: A set of technical workshops will be conducted by companies, including NVIDIA, Google, Upstox, Microsoft, and the Wadhwani Foundation, covering topics such as physical AI, AI agents, investing tools and software development workflows.

The Summit will also feature Entre-MUN, a Model United Nations track focused on global business and policy issues, along with an ‘Influencer Summit’ that will bring together creators and digital industry operators to discuss content, monetisation and platform dynamics.
