Deborra-lee Furness has been seen for the first time since ex-husband Hugh Jackman went public with his new girlfriend.
The Australian actress was spotted on the red carpet at a screening of Jamie Lee Curtis’ upcoming film Ella McCay on December 2 in New York City.
She posed for the cameras in an all-black outfit, including boots and a sweater.

It’s the first time Furness has made a major public appearance since Jackman went public with his new partner Sutton Foster.
Earlier this week, the pair made their second red carpet appearance as a couple at the 2025 Gotham Awards, following their debut at the Hollywood premiere of his new movie Song Song Blue in October.
They also recently went Instagram-official, with Jackman gushing about his talented girlfriend and her most recent performance at Cafe Carlyle in a post.
“Sutton Lenore performing during the holidays at Cafe Carlyle … not that’s an iconic NYC night,” the actor wrote.

Jackman posted a photo of Foster smiling widely while performing on stage with a small band.
Furness and Jackman split in 2023, with the divorce finalised in January this year.
Following the shock separation, Furness remained quiet until this year, when she released a statement saying she “remains grateful” but has been navigating “the traumatic journey of betrayal”.
“My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,” she said in the message, shared with Nine.

“It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however, I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.”
She went on to talk about the end of her marriage, which saw the pair live in New York and adopt two children together.

Foster was married to American screenwriter Ted Griffin from 2014 until 2024.
