The world wants to sell you on December being a month of celebration, but let’s be real: It’s the most stressful time of year. It’s particularly rattling for television shows awaiting news on whether or not they’ll be back next year as networks shore up their schedules before swapping calendars. It won’t be a month of joy for NBC’s Deal or No Deal Island, which was canceled after two seasons following low ratings.

But Hulu’s Chad Powers can begin spiking a football in addition to some eggnog. The comedy starring Glen Powell has been renewed for Season 2. Meanwhile, CBS handed out Season 2 renewals to its Friday night spin-offs Sheriff Country and Boston Blue, and HBO is full of Rage, renewing the Spanish series for a second season.

Whether you’re looking to celebrate your favorites or mourn the loss of something on your regular rotation, we’re keeping tabs on all the shows that have been canceled or renewed in December below.
