The 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships in South Limburg, Netherlands, marked another milestone for American cycling, with riders from across the country representing Team USA in elite and age-group categories. From seasoned professionals to passionate amateur racers, the event captured the spirit of gravel: endurance, inclusivity, and community.
The South Limburg course, set among the rolling hills and historic villages of the Netherlands, offered a mix of fast farm roads, rugged gravel tracks, and steep, punchy climbs. Riders faced multiple laps of a 50-kilometer circuit that demanded both power and technical skill, a perfect showcase for the growth of the discipline worldwide.
“What stood out most in South Limburg was the sense of pride and unity within our team,” said Eric Bennett, USA Cycling’s Director of Membership. “Every rider, from first-time qualifiers to seasoned veterans, showed what it means to be part of this community. Their performances captured the growth and momentum of American gravel racing on a world stage.”
