If Formula One driver Lando Norris realises his dream of winning his first world championship, chances are his girlfriend Margarida Corceiro will be watching on.
The English-born racing car driver, who currently drives for McLaren in the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship, is currently leading the pack on 408 points, just 12 ahead of second-place Max Verstappen.
With just one more race – the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, December 7 – left to decide the winner of the championship and 25 points up for grabs, Norris may realise his dreams of becoming the F1 champ with Corceiro by his side.

So who is Margarida Corceiro, the on-off girlfriend of one of the F1’s fastest-rising stars? First, some history.
Norris was born in England on November 13, 1999. His father was a pension funds manager who once appeared on the Sunday Times’ Rich List, and his unusual name was suggested by his Belgium-born mother.
He reportedly became interested in racing at four when he snuck a game of Gran Turismo on his father’s PlayStation.
His father took him to watch the national British Karting Championships when he was seven. He started racing at eight and claimed pole position at his very first national event.

He went on to win the European championships in 2013 before switching to car racing in 2014.
From there, he worked his way up from the Formula 5 competition, before joining Formula One in 2017 as part of the McLaren Driver Development Program when he was just 17.
At 19, he became one of the youngest drivers to debut on an F1 race track, at the 2019 Australian Formula One – which he won. Since then, he has notched up 11 Grand Prix wins.
A budding romance
Norris, now 26, was first linked with Corceiro in May 2023 when they were photographed together.

By June, they were spotted at the Monaco Grand Prix where Norris was racing.
In August of that year, she was pictured on the red carpet at the premiere of the world film Ferrari at the Venice International Film Festival.
But news of their relationship raised eyebrows as the model was thought to still be dating another sportsman.
Before Norris, Corceiro was part of a high-profile couple thanks to her relationship with Portuguese professional football Joao Félix.
She and Félix reportedly first started dating in 2019 and were together until 2023.
Reports only emerged the two had broken up when photos of Corceiro and Norris first surfaced, prompting her to confirm they had split up in an Instagram post.
“Joao and I achieved goals together for a few years, in a phase of change, growth and learning,” she wrote.
“Not having been together as a couple for some time, I am lucky enough to be a part of his life.
“We appreciate all the messages from those who really care about us.
“We are fine, happy and friends as we always were. He will return here and then we’ll see what happens. We have got nothing planned.”

According to IMDb, Corceiro was born in Portugal on October 26, 2002.
She reportedly started modelling at the age of 10, and is signed to Portugese modelling agency Central Models.
She started acting at a young age, appearing in one episode of the Portuguese TV series, Cites.
She followed this with a role in another PortugueseTV series, Morangos com Açúcar, filming 30 episodes.
More recently, she appeared in 12 episodes of another TV show, Punto Nemo, and appeared in a Portuguese film released this year, Hotel Amor.
Corceiro is also a business owner, having launched her own beachwear brand Missus, which sells clothing, swimwear and accessories, and even ships to Australia.
According to its website, Corceiro launched the business with her cousin Marta Matia, and the two “combine their experience and passion for fashion” to create a brand that “inspires women to express themselves through what they wear”.
“Missus is a beachwear brand that stands out for its fusion of quality, sophistication and comfort, designed to give contemporary women a unique sense of confidence, whether at the beach or by the pool,” the website says.

“Missus believes in local and sustainable production, working diligently to create collections that meet the highest quality standards, while also supporting Portuguese industry,” the website says.
Being a model also comes in handy, with Corceiro modelling many of her own designs both on the website and her Instagram, where she has 2 million followers.
Break-up
The pair reportedly broke up in August 2024.
The Sun quoted sources who said, “Lando and Margarida had a fun time together and hung out a lot.
“But it wasn’t working out so they cooled off. He’s free and single and just wants to focus on his sport.”

Norris reportedly confirmed the break-up when asked during a press conference if he was single. “I don’t have a girlfriend,” he replied.
Lando later insisted they were not previously serious during an interview with British Vogue in September 2025.
“We met a few years ago, but we were never really together until more recently,” he said.

By May 2025, Corceiro, now 23, began popping up again on the F1 circuit and in August they were pictured at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The following month they were spotted together at the Italian Grand Prix and in the paddock of the Singapore Grand Prix.
When asked by British Vogue what was special about Corceiro he replied, “Everything. She’s someone I can very much be myself with.
“[She is] very down to earth and she lives quite a crazy life as well.

“It’s nice when we can both just [rent] a boat for the day or go home together and chill.”
He even admitted to watching the teen romance The Summer I Turned Pretty with her.
However, Norris, now 26, admitted in the same interview she was not quite perfect.
“The biggest thing I’m trying to change is to get her into golf. She hates golf,” he said.
