Tasmania AFL stadium gets official approval after years of debate

It’s official. Tasmania will get its own AFL stadium and team in the national football competition, after the state’s parliament passed controversial plans to build the 1.1 billion dollar stadium. It follows years of debate and division, with opponents vowing their fight isn’t over.
