Former YTT cast including Dannii Minogue gather to remember a rising star who would have been turning 50.
Former members of Young Talent Time, including Dannii Minogue, gathered recently to pay tribute to one of their own, Juanita Coco, who joined the talent series in 1987 aged just 11.
Tragically, she was just 17 when she was the victim of a car accident in 1993.
On Instagram Bevin Addinsall posted, “In 2 days time, beautiful Juanita Coco would have turned 50.
“We are all so sad she is not here with us anymore. She truly was incredible. I loved her.
“So a few of us came together at Chef Sofra restaurant in Essendon to celebrate Juanita with her beautiful family Jenny (mum) Pat (dad) Belinda (sister) and family and friends for a special lunch.
“Some of her TV family were there too with YTT teams members coming together to share beautiful memories. It was truly such a special few hours with so much love in the room.
“For me it not only allowed me to celebrate Juanita but come together with some of my dear friends from the show.”
Lovely that they reunited for someone who in reality they knew for a short time, 32 years ago. And it says a lot about the impression Juanita left on them all.
