The nominations for the 83rd Golden Globes have just been announced and Aussies are standing strong.

Those being considered for an award include Rose Byrne, who has been nominated in the ‘best musical or comedy category’ for her streaming series If I Had Legs, I Would Kick You.

Joel Edgerton has also been nominated for his new project, Train Dreams, while Sarah Snook has been nominated for All Her Fault.

Jacob Elordi is also nominated twice, for his miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North and as the creature in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.

Apple TV+ stands strong in the drama categories, with nominations in three of the top six categories with Pluribus, Slow Horses and Severance.

As for Golden Globes snubs, Wicked: For Good has missed out in the ‘best musical or comedy’ category, while Daniel Day-Lewis’ triumphant return to acting for his son’s project Anatomy was also overlooked.
