A new teaser trailer has dropped for the upcoming Street Fighter movie, and it includes a first look at Alexander Volkanovski as Joe.
The trailer for the film, which is set to release Oct. 16, 2026, was shown during The Game Awards 2025. It provided a quick glimpse at many of the characters in the movie, including all the big names such as Ryu (Andrew Koji), Ken (Noah Centineo), Chun-Li (Callina Liang), Balrog (50 Cent) and Blanka (Jason Momoa). WWE Superstars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns also have roles in the film, playing Guile and Akuma, respectively.
As Joe, a lesser-known character in the Street Fighter universe, Volkanovski sports a full head of flowing blonde hair, which is a sharp contrast to his real-life bald look. The American character has a championship kickboxing background, and in the fast-paced trailer, he was shown yelling in celebration while pumping out a few punches.
