The ICC has announced the Europe qualification pathway for the 2028 Men’s T20 World Cup, with three sub-regional competitions scheduled for 2026 across Cyprus, Denmark and Finland.

A total of 30 teams will take part in the qualification events, on the first step to qualifying for the T20 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

After missing out on 2026 qualification, Scotland comes back to sub-regional action, and will travel to Denmark. Jersey meanwhile will feature in Qualifier A.

Qualifier A will be hosted by Cyprus from 16–23 May 2026, featuring Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Guernsey, Jersey, Malta, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.

Qualifier B takes place in Denmark from 8–15 July 2026, with Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Norway, Romania, Scotland, Serbia and Türkiye.

Qualifier C, scheduled for Finland from 14–21 August 2026, includes Bulgaria, Czechia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Isle of Man, Israel, Luxembourg, Portugal and Spain.

Regional final details remain unconfirmed, with results from the 2026 T20 World Cup and rankings to dictate which of the European members at the tournament (England, Ireland, The Netherlands and Italy) return to regional action.

“We are delighted to partner with Cyprus, Denmark and Finland as hosts—three nations that have demonstrated strong commitment to growing the game. These events will deliver high-quality cricket and provide players with invaluable international experience.”

Further details on match schedules, venues and times are expected after the completion of the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup in March next year.
