Cycling enthusiasts are urged to join a special event in Woodbridge.
The East Suffolk sportive, a mass-participation cycling event, takes place on Sunday, August 31, welcoming cyclists of all skill levels.
It serves as a prelude to the opening stage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men in East Suffolk.
A portion of the entry fee supports the mental health charity, Suffolk Mind.
Sarah Whitelock, cabinet member for culture, communities, leisure and tourism for East Suffolk Council, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Pedal and Picnic in Woodbridge as a lead-in to the return of the Lloyd’s Tour of Britain Men this September.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring our communities together, celebrate cycling at every level, and support a brilliant local cause like Suffolk Mind.”
Jon Neal, CEO of Suffolk Mind, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with East Suffolk Council for the East Suffolk Sportive.
“Cycling meets a number of our emotional and physical needs.”
For those not cycling, family activities will be held at Kingston Field.
