But the lucky WA player wasn’t the only ticketholder to snag the enviable prize.
Six other players from across Australia will also take home their six-figure slice of the $6m jackpot.
Another 43 winners across division two — including eight West Aussies — will be able to blowout their Christmas gift budget after scooping cash boosts worth $14,319.90.
Luck rolled on in division three, with 161 WA ticketholders securing a handy cash stash to the tune of $1,004.45 each.
The winning numbers for draw #4633 were 28, 20, 35, 17, 32 and 6. The supps were 41 and 25.
Saturday’s win comes after a couple from north of the river picked up a whopping $15m in Tuesday’s game.
The Perth pair revealed that when they told their kids of their new-found fortune they knocked a few zeros off the total.
“We won’t retire and we’ve told our kids that we won $15,000,” the woman said.
“Money doesn’t mean everything and we want our kids to understand they must work hard in life like we have.”
