Baradine sporting talent Evie Matthews has capped off a remarkable season with selection to the NSW Rugby Sevens squad.

Fresh from representing in the Cook Islands at the Raro 7’s tournament, the young Baradine athlete is becoming well known for her speed and determination on the field.

Now she is stepping onto a bigger stage as she continues to make her hometown proud.Evie travelled to the Cook Islands in October for a three-day tournament, where her team went through undefeated to win the grand final 44-0 against Redcliffe.
