Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is expected to return to practice next week, the team said.
Young has been out with a right knee MCL sprain since suffering the injury against the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 29.
The reigning assists champ is averaging 17.8 points and 7.8 assists.
Young is increasing his reconditioning activities and could potentially return to action near Christmas. Without Young, the Hawks have lost four of their last five games.
