The changes at the Wests Tigers have continued, with controversial board member and Holman Barnes Group chairman Dennis Burgess quitting his role.
Burgess came under fire earlier this week after his Instagram account was cast into the public eye, showing he followed more than 200 accounts with sexually explicit material.
The former musician has explained the situation with his social media page and confirmed he would be stepping away from the NRL club.

“No one has forced me out, it’s my decision,” he told News Corp.

“That Instagram page is a relic from my old music life. I haven’t touched it since 2017.
“To be clear, I wasn’t ever steering it – someone helping with promotions was driving the account and they likely followed just about everyone to boost the profile.
“I wouldn’t say I was hacked, in the technical sense of the word.
“But I’ve sure been blindsided by it because I was not in control of it. At the end of the day, people have jumped on it and weaponised it for their own reasons.”
Burgess was the driving force behind the Holman Barnes Group portion of the board, which will still hold four members after his departure.
Balmain hold one spot, while there are three independents including Barry O’Farrell who were all reinstated on Thursday less than a fortnight after being sacked.

Earlier this week, chief executive Shane Richardson walked away from the Tigers just 18 months into a four-year contract following the board shake-up.
The decision from Burgess and Richardson to resign comes as head coach Benji Marshall locks in a new deal, keeping him at Concord until the end of 2030.
The club’s fans will hold a rally starting at Pratten Park on Saturday morning as calls for widespread change at the joint venture continue.
