Week 15 has a packed Sunday afternoon window with five games, headlined by an NFC showdown with plenty of playoff implications featuring the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams.

The Lions (8-5) and Rams (10-3) meet in Week 15, with Detroit looking to stay alive in the NFC playoff picture, currently sitting in eighth place in the conference. Los Angeles is holding onto the No. 1 seed by a slim margin over Green Bay (9-3-1), so this game is just as big for them. The Rams are leading two close races, one at the top of the conference and one for the NFC West title. The Lions are riding a two-game winning streak against the Rams.

Set up with a nice catch and run from Ricky Pearsall, Brock Purdy found WR Jauan Jennings for the pair’s second touchdown of the day — a 13-yard grab. With the PAT, the 49ers extend their lead, now up 24-10 over the Tennessee Titans.

Jennings only has two targets of the day, but he’s done the most of them, turning both of them into touchdowns. That marks Jennings’ sixth receiving touchdown in as many games.

The San Francisco 49ers get lucky!

The Tennessee Titans very nearly cut the Niners’ lead to four points with a field goal attempt at halftime, but kicker Joey Slye was no good from 50 yards as time expired.

It’s an unfortunate end to the drive for Tennessee, after gaining some momentum in the second quarter following a 34-yard touchdown from rookie Cam Ward to TE Gunnar Helm.
