Newsrooms threw everything at live news last night to keep viewers informed of a terrorist scene at Bondi Beach.
ABC News, Seven News, Nine News, 10 News and SKY News all moved to rolling news last night following horrific scenes at Bondi Beach.
Joe O’Brien, Michael Usher, Georgie Gardner and Chris Bath were amongst those anchoring rolling coverage with a range of reporters on the scene with Live updates, witness accounts and developing information.
It was one of those moments when you knew newsrooms were moving heaven and earth to keep viewers updated during developing news… with incredible eye witness footage.
Amongst the scheduled programming understandably dropped was Nine’s The Events that Changed Australia….
Some staff heading on holidays have also been called back including Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo on Today.
Sunrise will also commence at 5am today.
