Hailee Steinfeld and her husband Josh Allen just shared the sweetest news ahead of the holidays.
Months after the “Hawkeye” star and the Buffalo Bills quarterback tied the knot in May, the couple announced on social media they are expecting their first baby together.
Steinfeld shared the news in an adorable, joint Instagram video Friday, in which the newlyweds embraced and showed off Steinfeld’s baby bump in the snow. In the footage, the “Sinners” actor sported a sweater with the word “mother” in all caps written all over it.
The pair simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji.
“I love you ❤️,” Allen commented under the clip.
Steinfeld initially revealed her pregnancy on her Beau Society Substack, where she also posted the same footage of Allen kissing her bare belly in the snowy scenery.
In her Substack post, Steinfeld reflected on her 29th birthday, writing, “28 was wild, beautiful, humbling, and full of the kind of moments that sneak up and change you quietly. This year, I’ve been reminded of how precious life is.”
The “Pitch Perfect 2” actor hasn’t been shy in the past about speaking on her plans to start a family with the NFL star.
When asked during an interview with Bustle last month about whether having kids is on her radar, she immediately replied, “Of course.”

“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” she said of Allen in the Nov. 4 interview. “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”
The parents-to-be, who hard-launched their relationship on Instagram in July 2024, announced their engagement four months later. Steinfeld and Allen later wed in Santa Barbara, California, on May 31.
The “True Grit” star opened up about the “unforgettable” wedding weekend in her Beau Society email newsletter in June.
“I’m sitting here with Josh, and we’re reminiscing on the best weekend of our lives for the millionth time,” Steinfeld wrote. “Over the past two weeks, random yet very specific memories have been popping back into our heads, and we’ve been blurting them out to each other, often through smiles, laughs and tears.”
Noting that “it felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue in Santa Barbara,” she added, “Our family and friends coming together amplified it.”
