The Hungry Jack’s NBL and Roman Siulepa have mutually agreed to a contract release.

The Australian forward has committed to the University of Pittsburgh and will continue his journey in college basketball, as reported by ESPN and DraftExpress’ Jonathan Givony earlier today.

Siulepa, who was initially signed as a Next Star for the Tasmania JackJumpers for NBL25, parted ways with the club in August last year, ahead of the start of the season.

He represented the NBL Next Stars team at the Adidas EuroCamp last month and played well for the Emus at the recent FIBA U19 World Cup, where he was named to the All-Tournament Second Team.

“We wish Roman all the best as he embarks on this next chapter of his basketball journey, and look forward to supporting him throughout his career moving forward,” General Manager of Next Stars Recruitment, Liam Santamaria said.
