Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua is just says away and there will be a lot of recognizable names as part of the broadcast team.
The Jake vs. Joshua event takes place this Friday at Kaseya Center in Miami, with Paul and Joshua competing in a heavyweight bout in the main event.Most Valuable Promotions confirmed the broadcast team for the boxing event with MMA Fighting.
MMA and boxing commentary staple Mauro Ranallo will be the lead commentator for Friday’s card, and will be joined by former world champion David Haye, along with Crystina Poncher. Sean Wheelock serves as the scoring and rules expert, while Sibley Scoles provides backstage news and reporting, Ariel Helwani serves as ringside reporter, and Kody “Big Mo” Mommaerts is the emcee and ring announcer.
The prelims kick off at 4:45 p.m. ET on MVP’s YouTube channel and Netflix’s Tudum, with the main card beginning at 8 p.m. ET exclusively on Netflix.
The fight night analyst desk is hosted by Kate Scott, and she’ll be joined by boxing legends Lennox Lewis, Laila Ali, and Andre Ward.
The fight week kicks off on Tuesday with MVP Fight Week Showcase 2, with Mommaert serving as emcee, Poncher joining Corey Erdman on commentary for the sanctioned boxing matches, and Scoles as the ringside reporter. The showcase begins at 6 p.m. ET on the Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix Sports YouTube channels.
Wednesday’s final press conference is hosted by Helwani, who then returns as on-stage reporter for the ceremonial weigh-ins on Thursday with Mommaert serving as emcee. The press conference desk team is Scoles, Haye and Poncher. Both the presser and weigh-ins begin at 6 p.m. ET and stream on the Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix Sports YouTube channels.
