Exciting West Coast Eagles midfielder Campbell Chesser will suit up for the first time this season when the team takes on Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.

Chesser’s 2025 campaign was hindered with an ankle injury in February, but he has since returned to form through the WAFL Eagles.

Chesser returns alongside youngsters Tom Gross and Hamish Davis, with experienced defender Harry Edwards also included after missing last week’s RAC Derby with hamstring tightness.

The four inclusions will replace young gun Harley Reid, who will miss the remainder of the season with an ankle injury, and Matt Flynn, Sandy Brock and Jack Hutchinson, who have all been omitted.

Flynn, Jack Petruccelle and Loch Rawlinson have been named as emergencies.

Saturday’s clash will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and 7-Plus in WA, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo, bouncedown from 1:20pm (11:20am WST).
