With teams looking to address gaps before IPL 2026, several players are expected to draw interest as franchises finalise their squads. Cameron Green Kolkata Knight Riders are expected to be active, with a sizeable purse and a need to replace Andre Russell. Chennai Super Kings are also looking for an overseas all-rounder, a role Green fits. Matheesha Pathirana Chennai Super Kings are linked with Pathirana after releasing him. If they are unable to buy him back at a lower price, they are expected to look at other overseas fast bowlers. Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are also in the market for overseas pace options. Ravi Bishnoi Lucknow Super Giants have released Bishnoi and could either look to replace him or attempt to re-sign him if bidding stays controlled. Rajasthan Royals are searching for a wrist spinner and may prefer an Indian option due to limited overseas slots. Liam Livingstone Chennai Super Kings are again linked with Livingstone after missing out on him last season. Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings are also in the market for an overseas finisher or all-rounder. Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings are among teams looking for a wicketkeeper-batter. Anrich Nortje Nortje offers pace and death-overs bowling. Teams seeking an overseas fast bowler who can take wickets late in the innings may target him. David Miller Miller remains a proven finisher in the IPL. His experience and role in closing games make him an option for teams lacking a middle-order finisher. Quinton de Kock De Kock enters the auction after being released by Kolkata Knight Riders. The 32-year-old has played for six franchises over 12 IPL seasons, scoring over 3,300 runs in 115 matches, with two centuries and 24 half-centuries. Wanindu Hasaranga Hasaranga provides middle-overs wickets and lower-order batting. With a base price of Rs 2 crore, he fits into several team combinations. Venkatesh Iyer Iyer offers top-order batting and part-time bowling. His all-round skill set and Rs 2 crore base price make him an option for multiple franchises.
