The Investec Champions Cup delivered a statement weekend, headlined by Glasgow Warriors’ stunning win over Toulouse that sent shockwaves through the competition.

Far more than a pool-stage upset, Glasgow’s composed, physical performance reshaped Pool One and tightened the race behind them.

Challenging weather across the weekend slowed the tempo and tested adaptability, exposing cracks in some traditional powers and rewarding teams willing to adjust.

Pool Two took a curious turn with all of last Round 1 winners facing a loss in Round 2. Bath (6 pts) sits at the top but leads every other pool contender only by one point. With Pool Two still wide open and momentum swinging fast, every match now carries extra weight.

Pool Four has been dominated by Northampton (10 pts), Bordeaux (10 pts) and Bristol (9 pts), who have won both matches so far. And Glasgow (10 pts) remains the only undefeated team in Pool One.

As Round 3 approaches, pressure is building—and so are the performances. With the dust settling, a few standouts rose above the chaos. Here are the best tries of the weekend.

Antoine Dupont’s First Try Since March

Antoine Dupont played his first match as a starter since his return from injury against Glasgow. Dupont struck in the sixth minute to put the first points on the board. Despite Toulouse’s surprising 21-28 loss to Glasgow, it was thrilling to watch Dupont back on the pitch.
