CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Seahawks continue their four-game road stretch on Wednesday when they visit nationally-ranked North Carolina at Carmichael Arena for an 8 p.m. start on the ACC Network.
The 18th-ranked Tar Heels (9-3) dropped their ACC opener last weekend, falling to another nationally ranked program in Louisville, 76-66 in overtime.
The Seahawks (3-5), meanwhile, fell to Winthrop, 78-68, to slide to 1-4 on the road.
UNCW will look to Kylah Silver and Rori Cox to lead them against the Tar Heels. Ot hare ranked in the top six of the Coastal Athletic Association in scoring at 14.4 and 14 points per game, respectively. The Seahawks are fourth in the conference in scoring at 66 points per outing.
UNCW concludes its four-game road stretch on Dec. 21 at Longwood.
