Richmond has locked in its team that will fly to the Gold Coast to take on the Suns this Saturday at People First Stadium.

Excitingly, two young Tigers are making their return, with goal sneak Seth Campbell back in the team after passing his concussion protocols, and draftee Harry Armstrong returning for his first AFL game since Round 4.

Armstrong has recovered from a hamstring injury, and kicked two goals in the VFL win over Werribee last weekend.

“Great to see him get through, started like a house on fire and I thought he was going to kick 10 goals,” VFL coach Jake Batchelor said about Armstrong’s performance last week.

“As the game slowed down, he got starved for opportunities but his ability to compete was consistent. Two forward-50 goals were purely based off the back of his physicality and presence as a key forward.”

The duo replace Nathan Broad (illness) and Jasper Alger, who suffered a concussion from a head knock at training on Wednesday.

The backline will be made up of Nick Vlastuin, Ben Miller, Tylar Young, Sam Banks, Tom Brown and Jayden Short.

James Trezise, Dion Prestia and Kamdyn McIntosh make up the centreline. Skipper Toby Nankervis takes his spot in the ruck, alongside followers Taj Hotton and Jacob Hopper.

Steely Green, Jack Ross, Maurice Rioli, Rhyan Mansell, Noah Balta and Jonty Faull complete the forward six.

Armstrong, Campbell, Tom Sims, Tyler Sonsie and Luke Trainor make up the interchange, with the substitute to be named an hour before the first bounce.

Jacob Koschitzke, Jacob Blight and Josh Gibcus make up the extended squad as the emergencies.

The Tigers and Suns meet in a VFL/AFL double header this Saturday at People First Stadium, with the VFL game set for 12.25pm, followed by the AFL at 4.15pm.
