Oklahoma leads the nation in tackles for loss with 115. Alabama ranks 34th in tackles for loss allowed at 57. In the first meeting on Nov. 15, the Tide held the Sooners’ penetration somewhat in check and allowed only five TFLs, which tied for OU’s low during the season. Alabama rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns, which were the only rushing scores Oklahoma allowed since October. But the Sooners also had four sacks.

With three takeaways, including an interception for a touchdown, Oklahoma edged Alabama 23-21 in Tuscaloosa. I think this is a field goal-type game again, but I don’t see Alabama going minus-3 in takeaways. I think the Tide will pull out a close one, 20-16.
