Kathy appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, after RHOBH Season 15, Episode 3, where she weighed in on Kyle’s first relationship after announcing her separation from Mauricio in October 2023. “I think she’s been smart,” Kathy said.
“They say that when you go through a divorce, you’re not supposed to buy a new house, you’re not supposed to make any big decisions. And I think that now it’s been enough time that she should get out,” she added. “But she’s got to want to and be ready for it.”
“She doesn’t need to get remarried. She’s not having children,” Kathy noted. “But she’s got to go out, too. If she doesn’t go out, they’re not going to come knocking at her door.”

Kathy appeared on the Livin’ in Beverly Hills panel at BravoCon 2025 on Friday, Nov. 14, where she spoke about her ideal partner for Kyle. “I think she would want somebody who’s active, that’s funny, that’s successful in their own right, that doesn’t have the begging bowl out,” she said.

“I think she would want to have somebody that’s fun, good-looking, and a kind person,” she added. “And I think she will find that.”

Kyle had opened up about her previous relationship during RHOBH Season 15, Episode 2. “Since separating from Mau, I was in a relationship,” she admitted during a confessional. “I was at a very vulnerable place in my life, and I fell hard for this person. You know, if I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that. I don’t care. I’m an open person like that. But that doesn’t mean the person I’m with feels the same way.”
During the RHOBH After Show after RHOBH Season 15, Episode 3, she admitted that she is “on good terms” with that ex, but it is “in the past.”
“It was bad timing,” she explained. “Our timing did not match up, you know, and for a multitude of reasons, so…”

When asked by a RHOBH After Show producer if she would like to “revisit the relationship” in the future, Kyle wasn’t sure if she would. “I just don’t think that, unfortunately, that our lifestyles and, like I said, the timing were aligned,” she continued. “So, a lot would have to change.”
