Many on social media shared their thoughts on Andrew Tate’s loss to Chase DeMoor, tearing into the controversial personality as his reputation was further destroyed.

Tate, the 39-year-old former kickboxer, entered the boxing ring for the first time, taking on DeMoor, who is 10 years younger. Although he was the reigning champion, DeMoor was met with boos during his entrance by Tate’s fans, while the latter had a more favorable response from the crowd on hand.

However, it was clear by the fourth round that Tate’s stamina was beginning to fail him. He was hit numerous times by DeMoor, and though he maintained his composure to hang on until the end of the fight, the 39-year-old was handed the loss, leading many on social media to mock the controversial figure as his reputation took a huge hit with those fans who backed him and brought in to his macho persona.

“Andrew Tate talked so much for 5 years about how much of an elite fighter he was just to deliver this abysmal performance? PATHETIC,” one fan wrote on X after watching the fight. Another posted: “This fight sucked but seeing Andrew Tate get beat was worth it.”

A third wrote: “Andrew Tate handpicked the worst boxer of all time as his opponent and still couldn’t win.” Meanwhile, a fourth had a more scathing opinion on Tate’s skills, believing the 39-year-old embellished his career to his followers and that his career wasn’t as successful as he made it out to be.

“Andrew Tate has gaslight a whole generation of children into thinking he was some unreal fighter, there’s guys a b—- and a random tiktoker is proving it #MisfitsMania,” the fan posted on X.

Another fan made fun of the fact that Tate was defeated by DeMoor, who previously was a Netflix star, which is where most fans remember him by. “Your ‘Top G’ Andrew Tate got his ass handed to him by a “Too Hot To Handle” Netflix star. 2025 what a year,” the poster wrote.

A commenter also made note of the fact that Jake Paul and Tate lost their respective matches within 24 hours of each other. “Jake Paul and Andrew Tate lost within 24 hours,” the fan wrote, adding a multitude of laughing and crying emojis to end the post on X.

After the fight, DeMoor gave Tate his flowers for what he believed to be a hard-fought battle. “Yeah…. 10 years out, 40 years old. I gave it my all, but he was tough. I do not know what to say, but he’s really, really tough. Congratulations to him,” the 29-year-old said after the fact.

Meanwhile, Tate explained that despite the loss, he could potentially return to the ring, even with those on social media lambasting his efforts.

The 39-year-old said: “I am going to have to go back and watch the fight again… make a decision, but Chase deserves his win. I am really happy for him. It’s better to try and lose than to not try at all.”

Along with the unfavorable result, Tate’s fight was marred by issues from the beginning, with some fans complaining they were unable to watch the bout. So much so, many demanded a refund as they pondered if it was worth watching the fight at all.

“Never let Rumble stream Misfits again it’s so laggy” while another vented: “A freezing stream, I wont be watching another misfits event on Rumble. Refunds are required, $30 and this type of quality is taking the p—,” a fan declared.
