The Boston Celtics took down the Toronto Raptors north of the border for their second win in as many nights, 112-96.
With Jaylen Brown (illness) out, Payton Pritchard led the way for the Celtics with 33 points, including 19 in the third quarter. He just missed out on a triple-double, adding 10 assists and eight rebounds.
C’s rookie Hugo Gonzalez enjoyed a big night off the bench with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals. Luka Garza added 12 points and 10 rebounds in his first action in more than two weeks.
With Saturday’s win, Boston (17-11) overtook Toronto (17-12) for the No. 3 seed in the East. It’ll look to earn its third consecutive victory Monday night vs. the Indiana Pacers.
