The Cleveland Browns are thinking towards the future, making Shedeur Sanders the focus of the team’s final three games.

Sanders has now started four games for the Browns in 2025, producing a 1-3 record with uneven production. While Sanders has shown flashes that made him such a strong college quarterback, he has also struggled at times adjusting to the NFL.

Last week, Sanders had a tough go against the Chicago Bears, failing to score a touchdown while throwing three interceptions in a blowout loss. It was the first time in his career that Sanders has thrown multiple picks in a game and his only start thus far without a score.

This week, Sanders and the Browns get a second-straight game against a playoff caliber team as the Buffalo Bills come to town. The Bills are one of the hottest teams in the league and have their eyes set on winning the AFC East.

This is another opportunity for Sanders to measure his talents against a battle-tested defense that has played in many big games over the past half-decade. As Sanders aims to prove he deserves a chance to be Cleveland’s quarterback of the future, a strong performance here would go a long way.
