New England and Baltimore are the Sunday Night game for Week 16 in an AFC battle for postseason position. The Patriots are looking to lock up the AFC East title, while the Ravens are on the outside looking in but still have a chance to win the AFC North division crown.

The Patriots had their 10-game winning streak snapped by Buffalo last week, which kept the Bills alive for another AFC East title. With a one-game lead in the division, New England needs a win to hold onto it. The Patriots can clinch a playoff berth with a win or tie this week. Due to Buffalo beating them last week, the division will be decided over the final two weeks of the season.

Baltimore has done itself no favors by losing two of the last three games, both to division foes. They’d clawed their way back into the division lead by winning five consecutive games, but now sit at 7-7, one game behind Pittsburgh in the AFC North and in ninth place in the conference. The Ravens are currently two games behind the Houston Texans, who own the final wild-card spot at this time. Baltimore’s best chance at making the playoffs this year will be through winning the division.

Patriots-Ravens start time: 8:20 p.m. ET

The Ravens are driving once again with Tyler Huntley leading the way. They’ll have a fresh set of downs at the New England 32 when we come back.

It’ll be Tyler Huntley the rest of the way for Baltimore.

Welp, that didn’t work out well. The Patriots just tried to run a fake punt, and it failed miserably. What a gift for the Ravens.

Drake Maye was really slow to get up there after a big hit in the backfield on third down, but he ended up jogging off. HIs left leg looked like it was wrapped up awkwardly.

Zay Flowers weaved through the Patriots defense there on a reverse for an 18-yard touchdown, and the Ravens are suddenly back out in front.

Flowers has five catches for 65 yards already tonight to go with his rushing touchdown.

DeAndre Hopkins somehow managed to get control of this one in time to get his feet down to complete the absurd grab. Thanks to a challenge from the Ravens, the catch will stand.

Drake Maye had Rhamondre Stevenson open in the end zone there on third down, but he just barely overshot him.

So the Patriots will settle for a 41-yard field goal to jump back in the lead. They’re up 13-10 now with 7:43 left in the third.

A massive sack from Jennings knocked the Ravens back, and then Tyler Loop left a 56-yard field goal just short. That would have been a career long for him.

That was a huge stop for the Patriots, who will get the ball back with great field position.

That was a perfect start for the Baltimore defense, forcing a three-and-out right away in the third quarter.

The Ravens will get the ball back right away here, but Tyler Huntley is coming out to lead the offense again with Lamar Jackson still hurt.

The Patriots have received the kick, and the second half is now underway in Baltimore.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said that “they’re working on Lamar” right now, too, but it’s unclear if he’ll come back.

The Ravens just took a knee there after the penalties, so the two teams will head into the break tied up at 10. The Patriots will get the ball back to start the second half.

Lamar Jackson’s status is still up in the air, too.

Thankfully for Baltimore, this play was negated by penalties from both teams. But it would have been a wild turnover…

Drake Maye got into Ravens territory quickly to try and set up a late field goal before halftime, but Ar’Darius Washington brought him down in the backfield and punched the ball loose for another turnover.

Here’s where Lamar Jackson went down with the apparent back injury. He struggled walking down to the locker room just now.

Officially, the Ravens said Lamar Jackson is now questionable to return with a back injury.

We’ll see if he comes back in the second half.

The Ravens’ drive fell apart after Lamar Jackson’s injury, but they still added 3 points after the short field goal.

Jackson is headed back to the locker room early.

Tyler Huntley is in now for Lamar Jackson after he took a shot on a run there. It’s not clear exactly what’s wrong, but he looks like he’s in a lot of pain on the sidelines.

Ryan YoungSun, December 21, 2025 at 6:31 PM PST

The Ravens are on the move at the two minute warning, thanks in part to a huge 18-yard toss to Charlie Kolar, and are now in scoring position at the break.

Points here for the Ravens are critical before halftime.

Ryan YoungSun, December 21, 2025 at 6:22 PM PST

A huge sack and a miscommunication on a third down stalled the Patriots’ drive there, but they still settled with a field goal.

The Patriots are now in the lead for the first time tonight.
