Police are investigating two fatal stabbings in Melbourne that happened just hours apart on Monday.
Victoria Police said two men were involved in an altercation at a property in Carrera Crescent in Clyde, in Melbourne’s south-east, before one of them was stabbed about 3:30pm.
The stabbing victim left the scene in a car that was then involved in a collision on Clyde-Five Ways Road.
He suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to hospital where he later died.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man at the Carrera Crescent property and he was taken into custody to be interviewed.
Victoria Police said the investigation into the incident was ongoing but they were not looking for anyone else.
Police are also investigating an unrelated fatal stabbing in Fitzroy on Monday night.
A man was found with stab wounds at a property in Napier Street about 9:45pm.
He was taken to hospital but later died.
A crime scene has been established at the Napier Street house and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
